"I came in for my annual eye exam and after a short wait was informed that the doctor was running behind, they apologized and offered to reschedule me for another day if I preferred not to wait. I did not mind waiting and was seen earlier than they had estimated I might be. If only other doctor's offices were this proactive when running behind, most let you sit in the waiting room for an hour or more past your appointment time with not a word of explanation or apology, let alone an offer to reschedule or an estimate of when you might expect to actually be seen."
